메건: 새해가 코앞이네. 너는 부모님 댁에 갈 거야?	New Year’s is just around the corner. Are you going to your parents’ house, by the way?
톰: 응, 아마도. 매년 가족들이 다 같이 모이거든. 너는?	Yeah, probably. My family gets together every year. What about you?
메건: 나도 갈 거야. 엄마가 이미 음식 준비를 시작했어.	I’ll go too. My mom’s already started prepping the food.
톰: 엄마들 진짜 부지런하시지. 새해 음식은 뭘로 할 것 같아?	Moms are so hardworking. What kind of New Year’s food do you think she’ll make?
메건: 갈비찜이랑 전이 항상 필수야. 네 부모님도 비슷한가?	Braised ribs and pancakes are a must. Are your parents the same?
톰: 비슷해. 우리 집은 떡국 없으면 안 돼.	Pretty similar. At my house, it’s not New Year’s without rice cake soup.
메건: 듣기만 해도 배고프다! 새해 전에 시간 있으면 커피나 마실래?	Just hearing that makes me hungry! Want to grab a coffee before New Year’s?
